Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legal agreement between you and Shansong Wang ("I", "me", or "we"), an independent app developer, governing your use of my mobile applications and this website (together, the "Services"). These Terms apply to all of my apps, including any apps released in the future. By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. Agreement to these Terms

By using the Services you agree to these Terms. I may update these Terms from time to time. When I do, I will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review them periodically.

2. Educational disclaimer

My apps provide practice questions and study materials modeled on real exams. They are intended to help you prepare and are offered for general educational purposes only. I make no promise that using the Services will result in passing any exam, and the Services do not replace official study guides, courses, or professional advice. Exam content, formats, and requirements may change at any time and are controlled solely by the relevant testing bodies.

3. The Services

I may add, change, suspend, or remove apps, features, content, or pricing at any time without notice. The Services are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Availability may vary by region, device, and operating system.

4. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, I own or license all content within the Services, including questions, explanations, text, graphics, logos, the website, and software (the "Content"). The Content is protected by intellectual property laws. I grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access and use the Content solely for your own study. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the Content without my prior written permission.

5. Your representations

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
• You are of legal age to use the Services in your jurisdiction, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
• You will not use the Services for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose.
• You will not access the Services through automated or non-human means, such as bots or scrapers.

6. Purchases & payment

Some features require a one-time purchase or subscription. All purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, subject to their terms. Prices are shown before you buy and may change over time. By completing a purchase, you authorize the applicable app store to charge your chosen payment method. I do not receive or store your full payment card details.

7. Subscriptions & auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple or Google account settings. Deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.

8. Refunds

Because purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google, refunds are governed by their respective policies. To request a refund, please contact the Apple App Store or Google Play directly. Where required by law, you may have additional rights.

9. Prohibited activities

You agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, or harvest Content or data from the Services.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the apps.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.
• Use the Services to build a competing product, or for any commercial purpose without permission.
• Upload viruses, malicious code, or use the Services in any way that could harm others.

10. Mobile application license

I grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the apps on devices you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the app store rules. You acknowledge that Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps and are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, entitled to enforce them against you with respect to the apps you obtain from their platforms.

11. Management of the Services

I reserve the right to monitor the Services for violations of these Terms and to take appropriate action, including restricting, suspending, or terminating access, removing content, or reporting unlawful activity, all in my sole discretion and without notice or liability.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by my Privacy Policy, which explains how I collect and use your information. By using the Services, you consent to the practices described there.

13. Term & termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Services. I may suspend or terminate your access at any time, without notice, if you breach these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ends immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

14. Modifications & interruptions

I cannot guarantee the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. I may change, update, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice. I will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Services.

15. Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. I do not warrant that the Content is accurate, complete, or current, or that the Services will meet your requirements or result in any particular exam outcome. You use the Services at your own risk.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will I be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Services. My total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the relevant app or subscription in the six months before the claim arose.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold me harmless from any losses, liabilities, claims, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of any third party.

18. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to first try to resolve any dispute informally by contacting me. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be handled by the courts having jurisdiction in that location, unless applicable law provides otherwise.

19. Corrections

The Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. I reserve the right to correct any errors and to update information at any time without prior notice.

20. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and me regarding the Services. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. My failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without my consent.
