Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Shansong Wang ("I", "me", or "we"), an independent app developer, collects, uses, and protects your information when you use my mobile applications and this website (together, the "Services"). My apps are exam-preparation study tools that provide practice questions modeled on real exams. This policy applies to all of my apps, including any apps released in the future. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described below.
Summary of key points
- I collect only the information needed to run the apps, support you, and improve the study experience.
- I do not sell your personal information.
- Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple and Google — I never see or store your payment card details.
- You can contact me anytime to access or delete your data at [email protected].
Contents
1. Information I collect
Information you provide
When you contact me for support or send feedback, you may share your name, email address, and the contents of your message. If you tell me which app or device you're using, I'll keep that so I can help you faster.
Information collected automatically
When you use the apps or website, certain technical information may be collected automatically, including:
- Device information (device model, operating system version, language, and region).
- App usage and performance data (features used, study progress, crashes, and error logs).
- General, approximate location derived from your IP address or device region — never precise GPS location.
Your study answers and progress are primarily stored on your own device so the apps work offline. Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may be used to improve question banks.
2. How I use your information
I use the information described above to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the apps and website.
- Manage subscriptions, restore purchases, and deliver the content you paid for.
- Respond to your support requests, questions, and feedback.
- Fix bugs, monitor stability, and keep the Services secure.
- Understand how features are used so I can improve study content and add new exams.
3. How information is shared
I do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only in these limited cases:
- App platforms: Apple and Google process your purchases and subscriptions.
- Service providers: trusted vendors that help run the Services (for example, analytics, crash reporting, and cloud hosting), acting on my behalf and bound to protect your data.
- Legal reasons: when required to comply with the law, enforce my terms, or protect the rights, safety, and property of users or others.
4. App Store & Google Play data
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store and Google Play. These platforms handle your payment and provide me with limited information needed to manage subscriptions and refunds (such as transaction and subscription status). I never receive or store your full payment card number. Please review Apple's and Google's own privacy policies for how they handle your data.
5. Cookies & analytics
This website and the apps may use cookies and similar technologies, along with third-party analytics tools, to remember preferences and understand usage in aggregate. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling them may affect some website features.
6. Data retention
I keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Support correspondence is typically retained while it remains relevant and then deleted. You may request deletion at any time.
7. International data transfers
The Services may be operated using servers and service providers located in the United States and other countries. If you use the Services from outside these countries, your information may be transferred to and processed in a location with different data protection laws than where you live.
8. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided me with personal information, please contact me and I will delete it.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, email me at [email protected] and I will respond within a reasonable time. You can also manage or cancel subscriptions directly in your Apple or Google account settings.
10. Do-Not-Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do-Not-Track" (DNT) setting. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals, the Services do not currently respond to them. I will update this policy if that changes.
11. Changes to this policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When I do, I will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may be announced within the apps or on this website. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
12. Contact me
If you have any questions, requests, or concerns about this Privacy Policy or your personal information, please contact:
